The Scion tC is a sport compact coupe designed and manufactured by the Scion division of Toyota. The updated model is more performance oriented, boasting a new 2.5L 2AR-FE straight-4 engine with an output of 180 hp mated to a 6-speed manual. An automatic gearbox is offered as an option. The exterior of the 2nd generation resembles the Scion Fuse concept car, introducing a similar rear quarter-panel window line, only with xB-styled A-pillars. Scion tC upgrades include new tC parts in the exterior, such as redesigned head- and tail lights and a grille that make the vehicle look more sporty and angular. Compared to the 1st generation, the new tC became 1.6 inches wider. The Scion tC is available in two trim versions: base and the 10 Series (limited edition). The base variant comprises a panoramic sunroof, 18'' alloy wheels, a touchscreen interface, Bluetooth phone and audio connection, and 8-speaker sound system. The 10 Series, which was launched for the tC's 10th anniversary, boasts exclusive silver paint, dark-finished wheels, and LED accent lighting.
