Universal Synthetic Winch Rope Kit (OTWR316) by Off Terrain®. 3/16" x 50'. 4.400 lbs rated. So you want to replace your crusty, old winch rope (or metal cable) with something better you say? Well lucky for you, Off Terrain got you covered. Off Terrain currently got a few friends and family members that have swapped out their old-school, fraying, metal winch cables and replaced them with Off Terrain super high quality, synthetic winch rope - and they are glad they did. This is a very high-quality rope, constructed of UHMWPE, which is just a fancy acronym for Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene. This means it's light as a feather, way more supple, and easier to work with than steel. For another - it's also stronger than the old-school, steel cable. Roughly 8x as strong. So for most applications, Off Terrain synthetic winch rope should be just what the Dr. ordered. Tell yo frens!
