Antique Automobile Radio

Who says a classic car owner can't have a radio that not only looks just like the original one, but also sounds great? With a huge selection of reproduction radios by Antique Automobile Radio, you will get both original appearance and clear sound. The brand offers radios for collector cars from 1947-1977. Over 90 models of radios are available for Dodge, GMC, Ford, Chevrolet, Plymouth and many other vehicles. These cutting-edge Antique products are small in size but big in features and performance.

Antique Automobile Radio was founded in 1982 with the idea of providing quality car radio vibrators for the old car market. At that time there were no new vibrators available and the original ones had a short service life. The company tried to change the situation by introducing a solid state vibrator which had the same base and dimensions as the original, but provided reliable performance and a much longer service life due to its solid state design. Today the brand manufactures more than 60 types of car radio vibrators sold worldwide.

It was back in 1996 when Antique Automobile Radio introduced its first stereo conversion engineered to ideally fit inside the original radio. The company's stereo conversions maintain the original look, but if you turn them on, you can easily tell the difference. Instead of the original electronics these state-of-the-art products feature a high power digital stereo receiver that works with the original controls and mechanical tuner. You can still use all original functions such as Wonderbar, Town & Country, etc. while enjoying an excellent sound experience. With a maximum power output of 180 Watts and RCA inputs that allow for plugging into a CD player or satellite tuner, these radios deliver the ultimate in performance.

Realizing the benefits of today's modern technology, Antique Automobile Radio continuously strives to add new features to its reproduction radios without compromising their unique design. Now all radios are outfitted with Bluetooth 3.0 + EDR wireless voice and audio. This Bluetooth feature is hidden under normal circumstances. You can easily access Bluetooth functions using pushbuttons when in the Auxiliary mode. The radios by Antique are compatible with Bluetooth enabled devices of all major brands available on the market these days. The only thing you have to do to enjoy your favorite tunes is simply to pair your phone, tablet or other device with the radio.

Antique Automobile Radio Reviews

The radio looks like the original radio in the car. Installation is a little difficult if your car is equipped with AC other wise the wiring hook up is easy. I like how the radio looks and sounds in my car. In addition I can listen to the music I like off my Iphone. I have received plenty of compliments on the radio and it is 1/2 the size of the original radio and hardly weighs nothing. If I ever do a radio installation on another Mopar, I would purchase this product again. No complaints at all.
