A 6-1/2" x 4-3/4" oval flange Pro 10R filter with ten layers of increasingly finer cotton gauze media is included in this 9" tall, 360-degree radial flow air intake system designed for optimal performance and filtration. Large surface area, an inverted top, and reinforced metal all contribute to the filter's substantially longer lifespan between maintenance sessions. Such a medium is best suited for off-road applications. A smooth, heat-resistant cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) one-piece sealed housing has a proprietary filter-to-housing interface. Its unique construction features overall fewer pieces, which allows for simpler installation.
A sizable, transparent sight window makes it easy to inspect filters without having to take the system apart. An optional auxiliary air inlet that draws in more air is added to the housing. To close the auxiliary opening, a plug is included. The system features a premium, computer-designed intake tube that has been specifically dyno-tuned to increase power while retaining a flawless fit. It is made of XLPE material that is incredibly strong and heat resistant. Stainless steel T-bolt clamps are provided to increase durability. The flexibility of the mounting points is retained thanks to quality silicone couplings.
