Sadly, the Kona N doesn't offer manual shifting capability – an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic is the sole transmission choice. All-wheel drive is not available for the hot-hatch SUV, too. FWD is the only driveline layout for cost- and weight-saving reasons. The SUV's speed tops out at 150 mph, while a 0-62 mph run is rather quick at 5.5 seconds. The Kona N has an aggressive exterior design and comes with a multitude of cool features, including a variable exhaust system, an electronic limited-slip differential, and customizable drive modes. The Kona Electric continues with a 201-hp front electric motor and 258 miles of range.
