This year, the Mercedes AMG GT got more power and standard equipment. What’s more, its American lineup was expanded with new versions. Let’s start with an entry-level model to the 4-Door line, namely the GT43. Truth be told, this four-door coupe has been available outside the USA since 2018, so it’s not the all-new model. Now, it is here with distinctive exterior parts and accessories along with a capable engine and AMG-tuned suspension and chassis. Nevertheless, this street monster is an entry model which means it takes things down a peg compared to the 53, 63, and 63 S versions, already available on the American market. It is a great choice for those drivers who want to own a sporty sedan but don’t need the sportiest performance. This model brings a combination of good sports car performance with great suitability for everyday driving. To get the most out of your car, you can further tailor it to your specific needs with 2021 Mercedes AMG GT accessories and parts from the aftermarket.

The 2021 AMG GT43 gets power from a 3.0-liter turbo I-6 engine. This mill is similar to the one found under the hood of the 53 but generates 64 fewer horsepower. That means the 43 version can provide only 362 horsepower, while the 53 one offers 429 horsepower. The number is not so bad for the segment, though. The GT43 is also got the EQ Boost 48-volt system which brings an additional 21 horsepower. The mill drives all four wheels via the AMG’s Speedshift TCT nine-speed automatic that ensures excessively short shift periods. In such a configuration, the coupe can reach 60 mph in just 4.8 ticks. There is also the Dynamic Select drive-mode system, so the driver can switch between several settings to optimize the performance of a car to their specific needs.

Besides, just like other models in the lineup, the GT43 comes with the AMG sport suspension for outstanding agility. An electronically deployable rear spoiler is the icing on the top. Surely, the more powerful the vehicle is, the more capable brake system should be to allow the driver to safely stop or slow down a car when needed. To reach the goal, the automaker blessed the GT43 with six-piston front brake calipers. But no matter how capable your brakes are, you aren’t safe behind the wheel if your tires are worn-out. They should be in good shape and meet your weather and road conditions to be able to provide adequate grip and friction for safe driving and predictable braking. Whether you need a set of performance, track, or fuel efficient tires, you will find it along with many other premium products in our selection of 2021 Mercedes AMG GT parts and accessories.

The two-seat GT model is now powered by a 4.0-liter V8 that offers 523 horses, 54 horses more than its previous version. The car has seen a drop in acceleration time. To wit, it can now spring to 60 mph from a standstill in 3.7 seconds. What’s more, a lithium-ion starter battery along with a limited- slip differential that is electronically controlled are now standard equipment. To ensure a smooth and comfortable ride, all AMG GT models come with the brand’s Ride Control sport suspension, which offers all the advantages of adaptive damping. The AMG GT coupe and roadster can now be had in Stealth Edition that adds a number of black accents to the exterior and interior. The headlight surrounds, brake calipers, transmission shift paddles, seats, dash, and steering wheel are all black. The exterior paint color is also black.

But the biggest news for 2021 is the release of the AMG GT Black Series. It is claimed to offer 720 horsepower which makes it the most powerful AMG model that has ever been produced. Power is supplied by the 4.0-liter V8 engine boosted by a pair of turbochargers. This mill can be found in many other Mercedes models. Although it isn’t completely new, it has been heavily revised to make more power. To wit, it got flat-plane crankshafts. The engine is mated to an upgraded seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. What’s more, the automaker equipped the new coupe with new camshafts along with an improved exhaust system. Of note, turbochargers were blessed with larger compressors. There are also bigger intercoolers that reduce pressure drop thus making turbochargers even more effective. As a result of all the above-mentioned changes, the car can sprint from zero to 60 mph in just 3.1 seconds. It tops out at 202 mph. The model also got a number of styling tweaks inside and out to differentiate itself from others in the line. As an example, up front, it sports a giant grille that not just makes it look more aggressive but also ensures sufficient airflow to the engine and wheel areas.

Great Kayak Carrier
Torxe™ - Kayak Carrier
Bought this for my weekend kayaking trips. Easy to use and holds the kayak securely. For the price, it's a pretty good deal.
